About The Position

The Dishwasher/Busperson is responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and keeping the dish room and equipment clean and organized. The role also helps clear tables after use and take out garbage. Responsibilities may vary depending on business needs and resident requirements. As a representative and team member of dining services, the employee is expected to act professionally and help ensure resident satisfaction in the dining department.

This is a 1–2 month assignment with potential for full-time employment. The schedule includes weekdays and some weekends. Pay is $15.75–$19 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school-level diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred; candidates will be trained.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe or Food Handlers Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a customer focus while performing duties.
• Take full responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware, tableware, and kitchenware.
• Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and promptly report functional or mechanical problems to the manager.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
• Maintain daily logs.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
• Help clear tables after use and take out garbage.
• Present oneself professionally and help ensure resident satisfaction in the dining department.
