Temp Dishwasher/Busperson - FT
About The Position
The Dishwasher/Busperson is responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and ensuring the dish room and equipment are clean and organized. The role also helps clear tables after use and take out garbage. Responsibilities may vary according to business needs and resident requirements. As a dining services representative and team member, the employee is expected to act professionally and support resident satisfaction in the dining department. This is a 1–2 month assignment with potential for full-time employment. Pay is $15.75–$19 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule includes weekdays and some weekends.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role is preferred; candidates will be trained.
- ServSafe or Food Handlers Certificate is preferred.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a customer focus while performing duties.
- Take responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware, tableware, and kitchenware.
- Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
- Keep the dish machine clean and promptly report functional or mechanical problems to the manager.
- Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle, and maintain daily logs.
- Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
- Help clear tables after use and take out garbage.
- Present oneself professionally and support resident satisfaction in the dining department.
