About The Position

This posting is for current Student Employees who have worked in the Dish Room at Watterson Dining for a minimum of one full semester. The Dish Captain is a student leadership position that provides on-shift supervision and operational support within the dishroom. This role serves as a working leader, actively performing dishroom duties while directing and supporting fellow student employees to ensure efficiency, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with sanitation standards. Dish Captains act as a key point of contact during their shift and help maintain smooth dishroom operations.

Requirements

Current Student Employees who have worked in the Dish Room at Watterson for a minimum of one full semester.
Minimal attendance, performance, and conduct infractions.
Understand EMDH mission, vision, and goals.
Understand EMDH policies and procedures.
Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
Must be able to complete tasks with or without a reasonable accommodation.
