About The Position

The Environmental Services discharge cleaning staff member provides discharge cleaning of inpatient rooms according to hospital cleaning protocol. Environmental Services staff help provide a safe and clean environment while following safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards, and departmental policies. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, or understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff while performing housekeeping duties.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 1 year of cleaning or relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean discharged inpatient rooms according to hospital cleaning protocol.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Observe safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards, and departmental policies.
