About The Position

Our client is seeking a Disaster Recovery Programmer Support Consultant to support critical disaster recovery operations and system enhancements. The role combines hands-on development, testing, and documentation management to ensure robust recovery capabilities across enterprise systems. W2 employment status is required, and an onsite interview is mandatory.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of professional experience in software development or related technical roles.
• JavaScript proficiency, with a minimum of 1–2 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and Visual Studio Code.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP API development and integration.
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• W2 employment status is required.
• An onsite interview is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain API codebases; identify and resolve bugs in production and development environments.
• Create and enhance reporting features; perform ad hoc reporting and produce monthly metrics on disaster recovery test management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery test documentation.
• Manage disaster recovery test-day execution and coordinate with the DevOps team.
• Review, enhance, and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and document issues discovered during testing cycles.
• Script and enhance recovery plan creation procedures, and improve and automate Fusion planning processes.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
