Under the general direction of the Director and Associate Director of the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD), the Disability Management Specialist – Autism (SSP III) provides comprehensive disability management, accommodations, and support services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental or mental health conditions that significantly impact executive functioning, social communication, and self-regulation skills. The incumbent ensures equitable access to educational opportunities and fosters student access through individualized accommodations, proactive case management, skill development, and collaboration with faculty and staff. The position also supports campus-wide education and outreach to promote inclusion, accessibility, and awareness of neurodiversity across the University community. Work is performed independently with broad discretion and professional judgment. May provide lead work direction, training, and supervision to graduate interns, student assistants, and/or peer mentors.
