About The Position

At Leatherman Tool Group, we build tools that last a lifetime—and we’re looking for a leader who can do the same with our growth strategy. We are seeking a Director of U.S. Sales to lead revenue growth, expand market share, and elevate our presence across retail, e-commerce, and strategic channels. This is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and executing sales strategy while developing a high-performing team. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution—you’ll define where we go and ensure we get there. You’ll partner across the organization to align go-to-market plans, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver measurable results.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in consumer products
  • Proven success driving growth, forecasting, and strategic execution
  • Strong experience managing key accounts and omni-channel (retail + e-commerce) strategies
  • Ability to influence across functions and lead through complexity
  • A leadership style grounded in accountability, collaboration, and results

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute U.S. sales strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and market share growth
  • Build and deliver annual operating plans (AOP), forecasts, and channel strategies
  • Lead performance across national retail, specialty, industrial, and e-commerce channels
  • Develop and manage key account relationships, including negotiations and growth planning
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service
  • Identify new markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
