About The Position

The USA Sales Director is responsible for leading the U.S. sales organization, delivering approximately $60M in annual revenue through 13 Territory Managers, while building the people, processes, and commercial discipline required for sustainable growth. This role offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact by leading a national sales organization, developing high-performing Territory Managers, and shaping the systems, processes, and culture that fuel long-term success. Through coaching, accountability, forecasting excellence, and sales discipline, you'll help deliver results today while positioning the business for future growth. The position is located remotely in the United States and requires a willingness and ability to travel 75%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience (10+ years)
  • Significant progressive B2B sales and commercial leadership experience, preferably in technical, industrial, instrumentation, environmental, scientific, or complex solution-selling markets
  • Proven experience leading and scaling geographically dispersed sales teams, ideally 10+ direct reports and $50M+ revenue responsibility
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue growth and building high-performing teams
  • Strong experience implementing funnel management, opportunity rigor, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales standard work
  • Proven ability to coach and develop sales professionals and improve organizational capability
  • Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and strategic account management skills

Responsibilities

  • Own U.S. revenue performance and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
  • Translate company strategy into clear territory, account, and opportunity priorities.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable 13 Territory Managers.
  • Assess organizational capability, recruit and develop talent, strengthen succession, and optimize territory coverage as the business grows.
  • Establish consistent qualification, funnel coverage, opportunity progression, close planning, and conversion standards.
  • Lead structured reviews focused on decisions, actions, risks, and next steps.
  • Own U.S. forecast accuracy and establish disciplined forecasting based on objective customer evidence, clear opportunity stages, and early identification of risk and upside.
  • Implement a consistent operating cadence including weekly coaching, funnel reviews, monthly business reviews, quarterly territory/account reviews, field coaching, and performance follow-up.
  • Ensure every Territory Manager maintains a clear territory growth plan and prioritizes strategic customers, new business development, and high-value opportunities.
  • Establish CRM as the single source of truth for opportunities, funnel, and forecasting.
  • Use KPIs and analytics to identify performance gaps, improve decision-making, and drive accountability.
  • Partner effectively with Marketing, Product, Service, Operations, Finance, and Key Accounts.
  • Represent the business with strategic customers and support major opportunities where executive engagement adds value.
