Director, Subcontract Program Management
About The Position
The Director, Subcontract Program Management leads the organization responsible for managing major suppliers and subcontracts supporting large aircraft production and development programs. The role develops long-term subcontract strategy and tactical plans aligned with enterprise objectives; leads managers and senior staff accountable for supplier cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance; and drives category management and supplier development for critical components. The Director also owns talent management and succession planning for the function and reports supply-base risk and performance to executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or supply chain.
- 12 or more years of experience in subcontract or supply chain management.
- 5 or more years of experience in people leadership.
- Strong grasp of FAR/DFARS, cost management, and schedule management.
Nice To Haves
- SAP experience.
