About The Position

The Director of Strategy and Business Operations will serve as the chief operating strategist, business architect, and executive integrator for Google’s Modular Manufacturing & Integration organization. This founding leadership role is the first position dedicated to strategy and business operations, initially requiring high personal leverage and later recruiting and leading a specialized Strategy & BizOps team as the organization scales. The role bridges Google’s multi-year technical vision and cross-organizational execution. It holds executive business ownership of modular unit economics, capital velocity, and product cost targets, partnering closely with Corporate Strategy and Finance while steering the business narrative. The Modular Manufacturing & Integration organization is working to industrialize data center delivery through mass-assembled, standardized modules and off-site manufacturing, moving labor-intensive assembly, systems integration, and quality testing into controlled factory environments. The organization works across AI Systems & Infrastructure (AI2), Google Data Centers (GDC), Systems & Manufacturing (ISM), and Google Global Infrastructure (GGI), defining the modular technical product and serving as the accountable business owner for industrializing and deploying modular capacity globally.
