About The Position

The Director, Strategic Finance provides support to the C-Suite Support through advanced financial analysis and strategic insight to support executive decision-making across RideNow’s dealership network. The role operates within the Financial Planning & Analysis function while partnering closely with Sr. Leadership to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights. The position supports strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions analysis, retail performance monitoring, and executive reporting. While reporting to the Vice President of FP&A, the role maintains direct access to the C-Suite and supports Sr. Leadership across finance, operations, and business development to ensure strategic priorities are supported by strong financial analysis and disciplined execution. This position combines financial modeling, operational performance analysis, and cross-functional project support to help leadership evaluate opportunities, manage performance, and drive organizational growth. This role offers direct exposure to C-Suite and Sr. Leadership and provides a unique opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across finance, operations, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required
  • 3–7+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel for complex financial modeling and analysis
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills for executive and board-level presentations
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights for executive decision-making
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to communicate clearly in meetings, presentations, and discussions
  • Ability to review detailed financial documents and data for extended periods
  • Occasional standing, walking, or movement within office or meeting environments

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Strategy, or Business Administration strongly preferred
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designations are highly valued for their technical rigor, financial expertise, and professional standards
  • Experience supporting executive leadership or strategic initiatives preferred
  • Experience with multi-location retail, dealership operations, or franchise environments is a plus
