Requirements

Must be able to do instate travel during training period (approximately 6 weeks)
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree required, in Education or with Education-related courses.
Management experience required.
Must complete Montessori Certification within the first two years of hire.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certified.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain working relationships with all levels of staff.
English literate.
Ability to multitask in a school setting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Computer literacy in Office Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based applications, and proficient in the use of office equipment.

Nice To Haves

Procare, Paylocity, Monday.com experience a plus
Experience in early childhood leadership education as a School Director
Familiarity with the Montessori method of education
Experience with DCF, Procare, Paylocity, Monday.com

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, schedule, and/or provide in-service training and evaluation of childcare staff.
Recruit and schedule children for the school; maintain accurate records on children enrolled in the program to include their development, attendance, immunization and general health.
Conduct program registration, and maintain appropriate files and waiting lists.
Confer with parents on a regular basis to discuss the development of their enrolled children.
Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program.
Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities.
Establish routines and provide positive guidance.
Maintains accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students.
Maintains ratios at all times, keeps attendance records of children throughout the day.
Conduct parent observations and tours.
Conduct/attend all required Teacher In-Service days.
Manage CRM software.
Maintain employee data and timecards in Payroll/Human Resource Platform (Paylocity)
Participate in Mentor/Mentee program and training program.
