Primary Function: As the Director of Sales at Element Electronics, you'll spearhead strategic sales initiatives to propel revenue growth and bolster our market presence. Leading a dynamic team of representatives and sales analysts, you'll cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration to surpass sales targets and exceed customer expectations. Your key responsibilities include: Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to meet company objectives and drive revenue growth. Leading and mentoring the sales team, providing guidance and ongoing training to optimize performance and foster professional development. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders across all product categories. Conducting thorough market research and analysis to inform sales strategies, product development efforts, and drive business growth within the electronics industry. Monitoring competition, gathering marketplace information, and recommending changes in products, service, and policy to maintain competitiveness. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, ensure alignment, and provide customized solutions for sales initiatives. Preparing accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Partnering with third-party providers, resolving customer complaints, and contributing to enterprise-wide efforts. Driving continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Staying informed about industry developments, competition, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge. Performing other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in electronics or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, achieve revenue targets, and drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and drive performance.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
