Director, Sales & Partnerships

Minty
$170,000 - $190,000Remote

About The Position

Minty is seeking a Director, Sales & Partnerships to do two things at once: coach our tenured Senior Account Executive team through the shift from a single-product motion to Minty's full multi-product suite, and build a structured, scalable Partnerships function — spanning agencies, affiliate networks, and technology integrations — from an early-stage, organically-run effort into a durable growth channel. This is a foundational leadership role with real influence over how Minty grows revenue: through the people who sell it and the partners who extend its reach. Minty is a modern ecommerce platform built to create better outcomes for both businesses and shoppers. We help businesses answer shopper questions, prevent lost revenue, and recover missed opportunities — while growing and engaging a trusted shopper network through Minty.com. We recently unified our products and brand to create a flywheel between business growth and shopper value: Recover, Prevent, and Promote for merchants, and an AI-powered shopping discovery experience for consumers. We value curiosity, clarity, data-driven decision-making, and ownership. We move fast, test often, and expect leaders to build systems that scale beyond themselves.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, partnerships, business development, or related revenue roles, with a demonstrated track record of building and scaling teams — not just operating within one.
  • Direct experience developing, coaching, or managing a team through a defined performance or capability shift (a new product motion, a new market, a new methodology).
  • Real experience building a partner ecosystem from early-stage state into a structured, repeatable program — agency, affiliate, channel, or technology partnerships all count.
  • Strong commercial instincts — comfortable owning revenue targets and pipeline across two disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to represent Minty at senior levels internally and with partner organizations.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills — experience influencing without authority across Sales, Product, and Engineering.
  • Agile and can operate in ambiguity and build the operating model as you go.

Responsibilities

  • Design and operationalize the shift from a single-product motion to consultative, multi-product selling across the full suite of products.
  • Build the enablement infrastructure — sales plays, positioning frameworks, and deal-review structure — that gives the team a concrete, team-informed definition of "certified to sell the full product line" within the first 90 days.
  • Use call intelligence to identify what's already working across the team's calls and convert those patterns into shared playbooks and sales decks.
  • Establish sustainable CRM discipline in NetSuite — pipeline hygiene and forecast structure the team owns and maintains — as operational infrastructure that supports the team's growth, not a reporting burden imposed on it.
  • Own and expand Minty's partnership portfolio across performance and digital agencies, affiliate/referral networks, technology platforms, and retail media partners.
  • Continue to iterate and build on a partnership strategy — which categories to prioritize, which relationships to invest in, and how to structure deals that create durable, mutual value.
  • Take the Partnerships function from its current state to a structured, repeatable practice with playbooks, partner tiers, and KPI tracking.
  • Define what a technical partnership looks like at Minty, in close collaboration with Product and Engineering.
  • Lay the groundwork for integration management, API partnerships, and platform-ecosystem relationships. This is a “build the case, then build the function” mandate — we don't expect day-one technical-partnerships infrastructure, since this is a net-new capability for Minty.
  • Serve as the voice of both Sales and Partnerships in cross-functional planning with Product, Marketing, and Client Success.
  • Contribute ground-truth input on quota feasibility, territory design, and pitch structure as part of the CRO's planning cadence. Final authority on sales strategy, quota, and comp-plan design remains with the CRO.
  • Own partnerships-influenced revenue targets and AE team quota attainment; define and track the KPIs that drive both — partner health, pipeline velocity, multi-product attach rate, and ramp-time to certification.
  • Establish QBR-style reporting that gives the CRO and leadership visibility into both halves of the mandate.
  • Build the systems, documentation, and workflows that let both the sales team and the partnerships function operate efficiently as they scale — partner onboarding frameworks, coaching/certification documentation, and deal-management processes.
