As Director Sales DACH – New Business , you will take ownership of an established New Business Sales organization in our largest market and lead it through the next phase of its sales transformation. Together with your leadership team, you will build a modern AI-first sales organization, introduce AI-driven automation, and establish a scalable sales engine with a clear go-to-market strategy, outstanding sales excellence, and sustainable revenue growth. You combine strategic thinking with operational leadership and foster a high-performance culture focused on customer value, business impact, and long-term success.

Requirements

• Proven Sales Transformation Experience: You have successfully transformed larger B2B SaaS or software sales organizations, driving improvements across strategy, organizational design, processes, leadership, and commercial performance.
• Extensive Sales Leadership Experience: You have at least five years of experience leading larger New Business, Commercial, or Revenue organizations and have a strong track record of developing leaders and high-performing teams.
• Operational Leadership: You enjoy staying close to the business, actively supporting complex sales cycles while coaching your teams through hands-on leadership, deal coaching, and high quality standards.
• AI Automation Expertise: You have successfully introduced automation and AI-powered sales tools into commercial organizations and know how to integrate new technologies into existing sales processes while driving adoption across teams.
• Commercial Excellence: Forecasting, KPI-driven sales management, CRM excellence, pipeline management, predictable revenue, go-to-market strategy, and cross-functional stakeholder management are among your core strengths.
• International Collaboration: You are fluent in German and English and thrive in an international B2B SaaS and e-commerce environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead our Sales Transformation: Develop our established New Business Sales organization in the DACH market into a scalable, customer-centric, AI-powered sales engine. Lead change with clarity, consistency, and empathy.
• Drive Revenue Growth & ARR: Together with five Team Leads, manage our Core segment (€2,000–€50,000 ARR), own revenue and growth targets, and build a data-driven revenue organization with accurate forecasting, clear KPIs, and disciplined pipeline management.
• Stay Close to the Business: Lead deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and forecast reviews while personally supporting strategic opportunities. Ensure outstanding CRM data quality and transparency across the organization.
• Implement AI Automation: Introduce AI-powered workflows and modern sales technologies across prospecting, sequencing, call intelligence, forecasting, and other key areas to improve productivity, conversion rates, and deal quality.
• Scale Sales Excellence: Embed methodologies such as Value Selling, BANT, and Reference Selling into standardized playbooks and repeatable best practices. Develop your leaders and teams in discovery, business case development, stakeholder management, and closing.
• Put Customer Value First: Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Account Management, and Partner Management to continuously evolve our go-to-market strategy, create a seamless customer journey, and drive sustainable revenue growth in e-commerce.
