About The Position
THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO COLLEGE OF LAW is seeking to hire a grant funded Director of the Rural Practice Clinic. This is a 9-month, non-tenure-track position within the College of Law with an anticipated start date in the Fall of 2026. This position will oversee all matters of the Rural Practice Clinic, including but not limited to client recruitment and representation, teaching, supervise Clinical Fellows and support staff, and assist with fundraising and development. The College of Law has a longstanding commitment to excellence in clinical legal education. Requirements
- Juris doctorate
- Ohio bar license
- Excellent academic credentials
- Demonstrated proficiency in general practice, preferably in a rural community
- Commitment to excellence in experiential legal education and community engagement
- Sound judgement and discretion
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred
