About The Position

The College of Law invites applications for either a tenure-track or non-tenure track position to direct the Defender Aid Clinic over the academic year and run the clinic as needed during the summer.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate
• Demonstrated ability and appropriate experience in the field of law (for tenure-track)
• Distinguished professional career making a significant positive impact in the field of law (for Professor of Practice)
• License to practice law in a US state bar association
• Be willing to become licensed in the state of Wyoming
• Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Ability to direct the Defender Aid Clinic and teach in other areas of the law curriculum
• Ability to teach at the College of Law and University level
• Demonstrated commitment to producing university-level scholarship (for tenure-track consideration)

Responsibilities

• Teach law related courses and direct the Defender Aid Clinic
• Maintain active scholarly research (for tenure-track candidates) and professional development
• Advise and mentor students
• Provide service to the college and university
