About The Position

The Director, Revenue Management leads the revenue performance strategy for a large portfolio of midscale and upper midscale hotels, ensuring pricing, inventory management and distribution decisions drive strong financial results. This role oversees a scalable, vendor-supported revenue management model that delivers consistent, data-driven performance across a broad geographic region. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders and leaders, analytics teams, and external partners to identify opportunities, improve outcomes, and implement effective strategies. The role manages multiple direct reports and oversees a third-party vendor team responsible for day-to-day revenue management execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in performance analytics, strategy, or financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including data mining and visualization (Tableau preferred)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations that effectively communicate insights, recommendations and actions.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including business case development and return on investment analysis
  • Ability to evaluate business trends and translate data into actionable solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships to ensure clarity in and connectivity to enterprise efforts
  • Proven ability to lead change and influence outcomes across teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect insights to execution
  • Balances creative problem-solving with practical business decision-making
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to varied audiences

  • Experience managing external vendors to drive performance strongly preferred
  • MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue results across a regional hotel portfolio, driving improvements in revenue, market share, and profitability through clear targets and disciplined execution
  • Lead a third-party vendor team, ensuring accountability to performance goals and contractual standards, while partnering to optimize service delivery and outcomes
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; translate insights into clear strategies and actions; and continuously evaluate effectiveness to drive sustained growth
  • Deliver clear, data-driven performance reporting across formats, effectively communicating results, insights, and the overall impact to stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams to align pricing and commercial strategies, and contribute to financial planning through forecasting and pricing inputs
  • Establish and refine processes, standards, and service models in collaboration with Program Enablement to support consistent, scalable performance
  • Build and lead a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and development, fostering a strong culture of accountability, capability building, and results-driven performance
