The Director, Regional People (Sam’s Club) is a strategic, outcome-driven leader responsible for translating business priorities into people strategies that drive measurable impact across talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness. This role partners closely with regional operational leadership to shape decisions, elevate leadership capability, and ensure consistent execution of enterprise people priorities in the field. The Director leverages data, insights, and field engagement to diagnose organizational needs, influence leadership actions, and drive sustained improvements in business performance, associate experience, and workforce effectiveness. This role brings the voice of the associate into leadership discussions, ensuring decisions reflect the realities of the field and drive meaningful improvements in engagement, retention, and overall experience. Beyond partnership, this role holds accountability for raising the bar on leadership standards, strengthening talent pipelines, and embedding a culture of ownership, feedback, and continuous improvement across the region. The Sam’s Club End-to-End People Team operates as a strategic partner to the business—focused on building a high-performing, people-led organization prepared for the future of retail. The team leads enterprise priorities across leadership development, associate experience, workforce strategy, and organizational transformation, ensuring they are translated into practical, scalable solutions in the field. Through strong cross-functional partnership, the team drives alignment between enterprise strategy and field execution.
