The Director, Real-World Evidence & Health Outcomes (RWE-HO), mRNA Vaccines provides scientific and strategic leadership for developing and delivering real-world evidence to support GSK’s mRNA vaccine portfolio, primarily focused on influenza. The role shapes evidence generation across late-stage development, launch, and post-marketing, with particular responsibility for post-marketing vaccine effectiveness studies in the United States. Working in a global, cross-functional environment, the Director translates recommendation and access evidence needs into scientifically rigorous and operationally feasible research. The role calls for expertise in US vaccine effectiveness research, influenza epidemiology, real-world data, and causal methods, as well as the ability to influence asset strategy and lead complex external collaborations. The successful candidate will design credible studies, anticipate methodological challenges, turn evidence needs into practical research, influence decisions, build external credibility, and deliver evidence supporting the value and appropriate use of GSK’s mRNA vaccines.
