About The Position

The Director Radiology exercises overall supervision of the department, manages assigned staff, and directs daily operations. The role assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates employees in accordance with the hospital’s personnel policies, and has authority to hire, fire, and discipline staff. The director identifies, studies, and helps resolve departmental problems, develops and manages annual operating and capital budgets, completes required competencies during the introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
• Five years of technical experience.
• Two years of management experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, a state license if required, or an acceptable equivalent imaging certification (ARDMS or ARMRIT).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA).

Responsibilities
