About The Position

The Director of Program Services at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of behavioral health programs. This role aims to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of clients and align with the organization's mission and goals. The Director will lead a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in program management within the behavioral health sector.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to achieve program goals.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight for large-scale programs.
  • Experience in liaising with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse groups.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive program improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using program management software and tools.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the behavioral health industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for program services, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the daily operations of behavioral health programs, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of program managers and staff, promoting professional development and performance excellence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including community partners, to enhance program offerings and address client needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for program services, ensuring financial sustainability and resource optimization.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care and service delivery.
  • Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings to advocate for behavioral health services and build partnerships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes to maintain the organization's competitive edge and compliance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and responsiveness to emerging client needs.
