About The Position

The Director, Program Management leads delivery across the Defense and Systems Customer Experience (DSCX) portfolio within GE Aerospace Digital Technology. The role is accountable for on-time delivery, program operating rhythms, dependency and risk management, scope, schedule, and cost tradeoffs, and predictable execution across a portfolio of more than 30 digital products. The Director leads and develops a team of program and project managers and owns the $25+ million CX budget in partnership with Finance and Business Operations. The role will establish the program management discipline for DSCX, creating standard operating rhythms and artifacts and coaching the team to use them. It will set delivery targets and standards, make status and blockers visible, identify schedule risks early, and escalate threats with recommendations while there is still time to act. The position also manages portfolio dependencies, drives RAID items to closure, controls and documents changes, and reconciles committed versus actual budget monthly. The portfolio primarily uses AWS, Palantir Foundry, and third-party SaaS solutions, with on-premise implementations for customers whose data sensitivity requires them. Delivery uses Rally and Microsoft Teams; ServiceNow is the system of record for incidents, change, and defect management. The team is part hybrid and part fully remote. Cincinnati, Ohio (Evendale) is strongly preferred, and travel of up to 20% is expected for program reviews, implementation site support, and vendor engagement. This is a remote position. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, and employment is contingent on proving U.S. Person status. The employer will not sponsor employment visas for this position.
