About The Position

The Director, Program Management Office (PMO) will lead and develop a multi-site PMO supporting three operating locations. This role involves establishing PMO governance, standards, reporting, and portfolio management processes. The Director will lead a portfolio of U.S. Navy and maritime programs through their full lifecycle, capturing customer requirements and ensuring effective translation to various departments including Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain. Key responsibilities include setting clear expectations for Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), driving accountability for execution, serving as the executive point of contact for strategic customers and key programs, and championing continuous improvement and PMO maturity. The role also focuses on driving customer intimacy, on-time delivery, and lead-time improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Project Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive project, program, or portfolio management experience.
• 7+ years leading program management teams.
• Experience supporting U.S. Navy, maritime, defense, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products markets.
• 50% travel required.
