Director, Product Marketing

Renesas Electronics•San Jose, CA

About The Position

Renesas is seeking a strategic and technically credible Director of Product Marketing to lead the global business, portfolio, and go-to-market strategy for next-generation PMIC solutions serving Edge AI and Physical AI platforms. The role connects customer power requirements with differentiated product roadmaps across AI PCs, robotics, smart vision, industrial AI, AR/VR/XR, edge servers, and autonomous systems. The successful candidate will combine power-management expertise, semiconductor business leadership, strong customer engagement, and executive-level communication. The position owns the business strategy, growth plan, revenue outlook, portfolio priorities, and PMIC roadmap. It translates customer and platform requirements into product specifications, cost targets, launch priorities, and business cases, and leads customer engagement from early architecture through design win and production ramp. The Director partners with Sales and cross-functional teams globally, presents strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and builds and mentors a product marketing organization as the business expands. Success is measured by revenue, gross margin, market share, roadmap execution, design-win conversion, qualified pipeline, customer acquisition, ecosystem adoption, cross-functional execution, and talent development. Renesas describes this as an opportunity to shape next-generation Edge AI power architectures and build a differentiated business across intelligent devices, machines, and infrastructure. The expected annual pay range is $209,000-$261,000K, with eligibility for bonus opportunities. Final offer amount depends on geographic location, experience, and skillset. Renesas states that more information about its competitive benefits package will be provided during the hiring process.
