About The Position

Nextiva is hiring a Director of Product Marketing to lead product marketing strategy and a team of four. The role will shape how the company and market understand Nextiva’s conversation-centric customer experience and team collaboration platform, including products launching into new markets and segments. The Director will work closely with the CEO, CMO, CPO, and Head of Sales to define the company’s category narrative, product positioning, messaging, naming, and launches. The position is based onsite at Nextiva’s Scottsdale headquarters and requires working in the office five days per week.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, including leadership.
• Experience launching a category-defining product or repositioning a product.
• Strong writing ability, with concise, vivid, jargon-free communication.
• Comfort communicating with executives and employees across levels.
• Ability to work at the intersection of strategy and execution and deliver work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four in product marketing.
• Own the category narrative for the Nextiva platform and its products.
• Develop positioning, messaging hierarchies, naming, and company-wide language for describing Nextiva’s offerings.
• Lead launches for new products, platform releases, AI features, and future offerings.
• Partner with Sales on enablement, providing the field with messaging and materials to support sales.
• Develop competitive intelligence and counter-positioning.
• Provide strategic input on pricing and packaging in partnership with Product and Finance.
• Partner with the CEO, CMO, CPO, and Head of Sales.
