About The Position

Renesas is seeking a strategic and technically credible Director of Product Marketing to lead global business, portfolio, and go-to-market strategy for next-generation PMIC solutions serving Edge AI and Physical AI platforms. The role connects customer power requirements with differentiated product roadmaps across AI PCs, robotics, smart vision, industrial AI, AR/VR/XR, edge servers, and autonomous systems. It combines power-management expertise, semiconductor business leadership, customer engagement, and executive-level communication. The Director will own the global business strategy, multi-year growth plan, revenue outlook, and portfolio priorities for Edge AI PMIC solutions. They will define market segments, target applications, market sizing, competitive positioning, pricing, and investment recommendations, while leading product roadmap definition and translating customer and platform requirements into product specifications, cost targets, launch priorities, and business cases. The role drives customer engagement with strategic OEMs, ODMs, processor vendors, and ecosystem partners from early architecture through design win and production ramp. It partners with Sales on account strategy, opportunity qualification, funnel reviews, forecasting, and design-win conversion, and collaborates globally with Engineering, Applications, Systems, Operations, Finance, and regional marketing teams. The Director presents market trends, competitive intelligence, portfolio performance, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and builds and mentors a high-performing product marketing organization as the business expands. The position requires approximately 20–30% global travel, based on business needs. Renesas describes the opportunity as shaping next-generation Edge AI power architectures and building a differentiated business across intelligent devices, machines, and infrastructure. The role is not available for remote work. The expected annual pay range is $209,000–$261,000K, with eligibility for bonus opportunities; the final offer depends on location, experience, and skillset. Renesas states that further benefits information will be provided during the hiring process.
