About The Position

Capital One is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the “Build it Right” product portfolio across its cloud-native technology ecosystem. The role will establish a unified product vision across Service Enablement, Enterprise Architecture, and a centralized Policy-as-Code Platform. These products expand secure access to cloud capabilities, streamline application approvals and architectural best practices, and automate discovery and enforcement of technical standards.

The Director will turn traditional governance into intuitive “paved roads” that help engineering teams build quickly and safely while navigating regulatory complexity. This executive and people leader will develop and empower a high-performing team of Product Managers serving developers, risk officers, and cybersecurity partners. The role will also promote AI-enabled automation for policy discovery, architecture reviews, and predictive risk insights, while connecting technology, risk, and executive leaders around outcomes that balance enterprise governance with rapid delivery.

Capital One expects Product leaders to demonstrate proficiency in human-centered product development, business focus, technology-driven innovation, integrated problem solving, and transformational leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• At least 5 years of Product Management experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
• 5 years working with products or platforms that serve software developers or engineers.
• 5 years of experience working with products that have regulatory, risk, or cybersecurity requirements.
• 1 year working on multi-tenant platform products.
