Director, Product Management - Federal Certifications & Regulated Products (Cortex)

Palo Alto Networks•Office - USA - CA - Headquarters, CA
•$243,300 - $333,900

About The Position

Palo Alto Networks is hiring a Director of Product Management to own the Cortex product roadmap for US federal environments, including FedRAMP Moderate and High and IL-5. The role serves as Cortex’s single product-facing point of contact for federal investments and owns commercial-versus-federal parity awareness, capability availability across security boundaries, and accurate readiness and roadmap information for field teams and federal customers. The Director will drive Cortex engineering teams toward audit readiness by translating compliance and audit findings into product and engineering requirements, prioritizing remediation, and coordinating across engineering, NetSec, IT, GNS, DevOps, DevSecOps, certifications, product, and federal field teams. The Global Certifications & Regulated Products team owns authorizations and the audit relationship; this role owns preparing Cortex for those processes. The position also owns Cortex’s federal market and business view, including buyers, total addressable market, business performance across Moderate, High, and IL-5, the competitive landscape, and growth opportunities. The Director will use this information to make investment cases to leadership and represent Cortex in customer-facing discussions, while sales owns the selling motion. The company says most teams work from the office full time, with flexibility when needed.
