About The Position
AKDO is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Product Development & Marketing to lead our product vision, drive innovation, and elevate our brand across all channels. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping product strategy, overseeing development from concept to launch, and driving integrated marketing initiatives that support revenue growth and brand differentiation. This is a fully onsite role based in either Bridgeport, CT or New York, NY.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product development and marketing
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
- Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with tile, stone, or similar hard surface, building materials, or design-driven products strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute product and marketing strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead product development across categories from concept through launch
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, PR, events, and sales channels
- Analyze performance data to optimize product portfolio and marketing ROI
- Partner with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Executive Leadership to drive results
- Lead and develop a high-performing Product Development and Marketing team
