About The Position

Provides leadership and coordinates all activities related to business development, customer and employee relations, finance, and quality management for the private pay business. The position supports Holy Redeemer Home Care and Hospice’s mission by collaborating with team members to promote quality, compassionate, holistic, patient-centered care and service to internal and external customers. The role is expected to promote the mission and values of the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer, including respect, compassion, justice, hospitality, a holistic approach, stewardship, and collaboration.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressive healthcare management experience, or a degree in healthcare administration or a related field and at least three years of progressive management experience.
• Ability to increase census, expand referral networks, and attract new patients from outside the organization’s current service area.
• Computer literacy.
• Demonstrated assessment skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive leadership style.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to act autonomously.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to promote the mission and values of the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer.
• Ability to function in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
• Ability to travel to Holy Redeemer Health System entities and to patients’ homes within the service area.
• Ability to demonstrate professional procedures in the home care setting.
• Ability to use office equipment, including a car phone, copier, and fax.
• Ability to perform position changes and movements including reaching, pulling, pushing, crouching, and stooping when performing patient care.
• Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to carry necessary durable medical equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
