Director, Payment Innovation

This role will lead and support the design, development and execution of value-based purchasing (VBP) & payment innovation programs across Centene. This role will directly support the achievement of goals and metrics related to payment innovation. Develop value-based purchasing model technical design & annual model updates. Support creation of new ideas and products to meet emerging customer needs. Develop value-based purchasing performance management and tracking processes/tools. Lead creation, development and adoption of value proposition content & collaterals with support from stakeholders. Lead and support value-based purchasing training & coaching across Centene including Markets and Product organizations. Responsible for understanding state requirements/needs to support request for proposal (RFP) and re-procurement responses (Medicaid). Responsible for business ownership for tools & technology that support value-based purchasing programs/models. Provide technical support and direction to IT & Analytics teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Health Care Administration, Policy, Provider Engagement or other related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Policy, Provider Engagement or other related field required or equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
- Master's of Business Administration (MBA), Master's of Health Administration (MHA) or other advanced degree preferred.
