The purpose of this position is to lead and support the design, development, and execution of value-based purchasing (VBP) and payment innovation programs across Centene. This role will directly support the achievement of goals and metrics related to payment innovation. The role involves developing value-based purchasing model technical design and annual model updates, supporting the creation of new ideas and products to meet emerging customer needs, and developing value-based purchasing performance management and tracking processes/tools. It also includes leading the creation, development, and adoption of value proposition content and collaterals with stakeholder support, and leading and supporting value-based purchasing training and coaching across Centene, including Markets and Product organizations. The role is responsible for understanding state requirements/needs to support request for proposal (RFP) and re-procurement responses (Medicaid) and for business ownership of tools and technology that support value-based purchasing programs/models, providing technical support and direction to IT & Analytics teams.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Health Care Administration, Policy, Provider Engagement or other related field required.
Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Policy, Provider Engagement or other related field required or equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

Master's of Business Administration (MBA), Master's of Health Administration (MHA) or other advanced degree preferred.
