Director, Partner Execution Office

Pure Storage•Santa Clara, CA

About The Position

Everpure is seeking a senior partner leader to guide a company-wide effort to make its go-to-market and product lifecycle more partner-oriented. The role serves as the Global Partner Organization’s leader and key advisor for this initiative, bringing partner expertise, field perspective, and stakeholder alignment to the assessment and recommendations. The position has broad latitude to set objectives and approaches, validate how partner processes operate end to end, evaluate partner impact and implementation feasibility, and shape recommendations and workstream charters. Over a multi-year horizon, the director will lead cross-functional execution of the resulting roadmap—not simply coordinate the program. The role builds formal networks with decision makers, represents the work to senior leaders across the company, establishes governance and operating cadence, and holds workstream owners accountable for measurable results. It also engages partners and regional leaders to test proposals and represent Everpure’s direction on partner-led go-to-market. The position is expected to work primarily from Everpure’s Santa Clara, California office, in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience in channel, partner, or go-to-market roles at a B2B technology company.
  • Deep working knowledge of partner ecosystems across Resellers, Distributors, MSPs, and GSIs, with credibility among partners and field teams.
  • Deep understanding of channel mechanics, including deal registration, account coverage, compensation design, quoting and approval thresholds, program tiering and incentives, and partner lifecycle economics.
  • Sound judgment when solving critical issues with limited information, and ability to take a long-term view tied to strategic goals and objectives.
  • Track record of results affecting multiple functions and comfort setting objectives and approaches for critical assignments with wide latitude.
  • Exceptional executive presence and ability to present to, challenge, and earn the trust of senior company leaders.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, multi-year, cross-functional change from planning through execution, including governance, accountability, and measurable results.
  • Experience influencing and aligning VP- and C-level stakeholders across functions without direct authority.
  • Ability to translate a 2–3 year vision into a roadmap, metrics, and operating cadence that keep multiple teams aligned.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including synthesizing complex cross-functional topics into clear executive messages.
  • Track record of driving organizational change and resolving systemic, root-cause problems rather than symptoms.
  • Rigor and follow-through on complex, multi-year programs.
  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities, ownership, and a bias for action.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Management consulting, corporate strategy, or go-to-market planning background, preferably with experience structuring ambiguous problems and developing executive-ready recommendations.
  • MBA preferred.

  • Validate findings against partner experience and field realities; assess partner impact and implementation feasibility of opportunities.
  • Shape priorities, future-state concepts, recommendations, decision ownership, and sequencing from the partner perspective and in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Pressure-test the proposed future-state operating model and implementation path.
  • Develop partner-focused metrics for functional scorecards to monitor organizations and their leaders across functions.
  • Engage key Reseller, Distributor, MSP, and GSI partners to test critical priorities; gather and synthesize input from leaders in AMS, EMEA, and APJ.
  • Explore opportunities for partners to participate in more of the customer lifecycle, including early engagement, services, renewal, and expansion.
  • Represent Everpure’s direction with key partners and at partner advisory councils, serving as an authority on partner-led go-to-market.
  • Translate final recommendations into workstream charters with clear objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Socialize the multi-year roadmap with functional leaders and executives; secure accountable owners and committed delivery dates for each workstream.
  • Finalize the governance model and operating cadence for multi-year execution.
  • Lead cross-functional execution of the roadmap through formal networks with decision makers and hold owners accountable for results.
  • Use scorecard metrics to surface risks early, escalate decisions to appropriate leaders, and drive consensus when incentives or priorities compete.
  • Provide concise progress, risk, and decision readouts to the Global Partner Organization, steering committee, and company leadership.
  • Partner with change management to ensure new ways of working are adopted and sustained.
