About The Position

The Director of the Partial Hospital Program provides administrative and clinical leadership for an acute care day treatment program for adults. The role oversees daily operations and staff supervision, coordinates with other hospital departments, and collaborates with the program's Medical Director. The Director designs and implements programs in response to emerging client needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The Director provides day-to-day problem-solving and crisis management, ensures productivity and patient satisfaction targets are met, monitors and manages the program budget, and ensures accurate billing. The role also oversees an integrated graduate mental health internship program and coordinates with local graduate school officials.

Requirements

• At least 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting with clients who have acute psychiatric symptoms and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Excellent team-building, communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Skilled use of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records.
• NYS certification as an LCSW Social Worker, licensure as a Psychologist, or another NYS mental health professional license.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
