The Director of Wellness at Barclay House of Stuart oversees the daily operations of the wellness (Nursing Care) department. This role directly supervises nursing and personal care staff, manages resident well-being and care, assesses residents’ health, functional, and psycho-social status, and proactively manages their care. The Director ensures superior care, promotes service excellence, and ensures the community meets applicable Federal and State guidelines and requirements. The position requires flexibility to assist on a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
Hold a current state LPN license as required by state regulations.
Have three years of nursing experience.
Have two years of supervisory experience.
Have experience hiring staff, managing budgets, and managing schedules.
Hold current CPR certification.
Be flexible and prepared to assist on a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or university.
Current First Aid certification.
Experience in assisted living or long-term care.
Experience in dementia care.
