About The Position

QSL Management is hiring a Director of Wellness for The Barclay at Vero Beach AL and MC. The role leads the daily operations of the wellness (nursing care) department, supervises nursing and personal care staff, and oversees resident well-being and care. The Director assesses residents’ health, functional, and psychosocial status and proactively manages their care while promoting superior care and service excellence. The position also ensures the community meets applicable federal and state guidelines and requirements.

Requirements

• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• Current state LPN license as required by state regulations.
• Three years of nursing experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience hiring staff, managing a budget, and managing schedules.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexibility and readiness to assist on a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or university.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care.
• Experience in dementia care.
