About The Position

The Director of Wellness supervises nursing staff and helps ensure residents receive excellent care in a warm, caring, home-like community. The role focuses on enhancing the daily lives of seniors and supporting their independence, happiness, privacy, and dignity. The Director works with residents, families, and a team committed to meeting and exceeding clients’ needs, while reflecting the organization’s values of integrity, compassion, quality, and diversity. Encore Senior Living offers training and emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and promotion from within.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the states of oversight.
• A love for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, energetic people person capable of projecting calm, care, and professionalism in work-related situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff.
• Support the provision of excellent care and service to residents and their families.
• Help enhance residents’ daily lives and support their independence, happiness, privacy, and dignity.
