The Director of Training and Program Enablement is responsible for the design, content, and delivery of training for Galileo’s camp program, including Camp Directors and all camp teams. This role focuses on execution and effectiveness. You will translate operational priorities into clear, usable training and resources that enable teams to run high-quality, safe, and consistent camp experiences. You will own training content and delivery end-to-end, while partnering cross-functionally to ensure alignment with broader program priorities. You will collaborate closely with the Education Product team as they develop learning architecture and large-scale learning systems, coordinate with cross-functional subject matter experts to ensure their expertise is represented throughout our trainings and resources, and continuously iterate and improve training design and delivery in order to best serve our Field teams, camp leadership, and camp staff. This role reports to the VP of National Field Operations and partners closely with Field Operations, Educational Product, and the People Team.

  • Driving Training Effectiveness: Track training completion, comprehension, and readiness signals. Identify gaps between training and execution and continuously improve. Use survey data, field feedback, and observation to identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct field validation to understand real-world performance.
