About The Position

Under the supervision of the University Title IX & VI Coordinator, the Director of Title IX Case Management and Prevention Education directs and administers case management and prevention education efforts, ensuring compliance with federal and state training and awareness requirements, University policy, and institutional priorities. This role manages case records, tracks progress, prepares communications, and coordinates matters related to Title IX, Non-Title IX, and Title VI to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely response. The Director leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive prevention education strategy, serves as chair of the Title IX Prevention Committee, supports collaboration with peer education efforts, including coordination with the Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB), and supervises graduate assistants supporting Title IX and Title VI initiatives such as the Step Up Leadership Program. At the direction of the Title IX & VI Coordinator, serves as a point of contact for designated reports, conducts intake meetings, investigations, coordinates supportive measures, and resolution processes. The Director prepares case summaries, reports, maintains the Title IX & VI dashboards, and develops analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and support institutional reporting obligations. Provides guidance on case management processes to support staff and cultivates trusting, collaborative relationships with campus stakeholders, including students, faculty, and staff, to promote a safe, respectful, and accountable community.

Requirements

Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, social work, public administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in higher education or a related setting involving case management, student conduct, Title IX, Title VI, or behavioral intervention.
Demonstrated experience managing sensitive and complex student-related matters, including intake, documentation, and coordination of response.
Experience developing or facilitating training, education, or prevention programming for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Experience working with confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
Excellent written and oral communication, both public speaking and one-on-one.
Ability to integrate Christian faith with student development theories and practice.
Personal faith in Jesus Christ, active involvement in a local church, and demonstrated support for the Christian mission of the University
Knowledge of higher education Title IX grievance processes and non-Title IX resolution frameworks.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and student development theory.
Experience designing and delivering training for varied audiences.
Ability to identify patterns, trends, and systemic issues across cases.
Familiarity with Clery/VAWA reporting concepts and compliance considerations.
Experience facilitating informal resolution processes.
Ability to navigate complex institutional environments and collaborate across departments
Proficiency Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar).
Experience using or ability to learn Maxient.
Ability to use Google Sheets or similar tools to track, organize, and report on data.
Manage website content.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Manage the intake and coordination of reports related to Title IX, Non-Title IX, and Title VI matters.
Maintain accurate case records, track progress, prepare communications, and coordinate resolution processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely response.
Serve as a designated point of contact for reports and conduct intake meetings at the direction of the Title IX & VI Coordinator.
Develop and implement prevention education and training initiatives for students, faculty, and staff, ensuring compliance with federal and state training and awareness requirements.
Coordinate outreach and awareness efforts that promote a safe, respectful, and accountable community.
Organize and execute the Step Up Leadership Program.
Prepare case summaries, reports, dashboards, and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and support institutional reporting obligations.
Maintain accurate data to support compliance with federal and state requirements and contribute to semester and annual reporting processes.
Chair the Title IX Prevention Committee and collaborate with campus partners to support coordinated prevention and response efforts.
Work with peer education programs, including the Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB) and graduate assistants, to align messaging and outreach with institutional priorities.
Serve as a representative/leader on Student Affairs Cabinet.
Provide guidance and supervision to professional staff and student employees engaged in related work and support alignment with Title IX & VI.
Respond to crisis calls during non-business hours and provide coverage, as needed. This includes weekends, after-hours, weekly rotations, and holidays.
Complete relevant case notes and documentation, and notify the Assistant Dean of any concerns.
Serve as a Christian role model and promote a biblical worldview.
Perform other duties as assigned.
