About The Position

Exemplar Global Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that services and supports the conformity assessment industry (auditors, trainers and certification bodies). With a strong legacy of over 30 years in auditor and auditor training certification, we possess the expertise to help professionals and training providers be recognized in their industry. Our vision is to become the main globally acknowledged authority for conformity professional certification by providing credential management for individuals seeking professional recognition, providing independent certification for training providers to enhance their course quality and outcomes, and offering new and innovative services that better serve all of our stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Executive Managing Director, the Director of Strategic Partnerships is accountable for developing and delivering growth that drives sustainable revenue, market expansion, and scalable certification pathways for Exemplar Global while also providing cross-functional leadership and direction to internal market-facing teams. The role operates at a strategic level and will own the development, execution, and delivery of partnerships, including the translation of these into structured programs and commercial outcomes that are aligned to Exemplar Global’s business model and quality framework. The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, have an ability to connect market needs to revenue outcomes, possess strong partnership and stakeholder engagement skills, and be a structured thinker who is able to move from idea to program to delivery.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience building relationships that translate into structured programs with revenue-driven objectives
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to comply with attendance and timeliness policies.
  • This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship (e.g., STEM OPT, TN, H-1B, or other work visa).

Responsibilities

  • Support diversification of revenue streams and expansion into new market channels.
  • Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with certification bodies, industry associations, enterprises, and adjacent organizations to create scalable training and certification pathways.
  • Own strategic partner relationships end-to-end, including commercial terms, agreement structure, delivery expectations, and performance outcomes.
  • Ensure partnership opportunities are converted into a qualified pipeline and effectively progressed in collaboration with Sales and Account Services.
  • Translate partner and market needs into structured, commercially viable programs and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Operations to ensure offerings and programs align with partner needs and can be delivered efficiently and consistently.
  • Establish governance, systems, and reporting frameworks to support partnership performance, accountability, and scalability.
  • Provide leadership and direction to internal market-facing functions (Sales, Account Services, Marketing, Community) and collaborate with other functions to ensure clarity of priorities, effective handoffs, and coordinated execution.
  • Collaborate with ASQ’s marketing and Commercial team to ensure a successful and effective Shared Services relationship.
  • Contribute at the senior leadership level to strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational alignment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
