Mosaic is seeking its first Director of Strategic Partnerships to build the organization’s fundraising infrastructure, develop fundraising strategy, and expand its donor portfolio. The role leads fundraising efforts, manages relationships with existing major donors, and develops a pipeline of new support as Mosaic scales its grantmaking and funding to the field. The Director is responsible for cultivating and stewarding donors, identifying prospects and potential partnerships, and connecting philanthropic priorities with Mosaic’s initiatives. The role includes soliciting gifts of varied sizes and types, including complex assets, and generating at least $8–10 million in sustainable annual revenue, with appropriate increases in subsequent years. The Director serves as a key external representative and contact for philanthropic support. Mosaic is a national collaborative funder and field catalyst supporting climate, conservation, and environmental health and justice movements in the United States. It strengthens movement infrastructure through resilient networks and coalitions, leadership development, advocacy tools and training, and narratives that shift norms. The organization works to advance lasting environmental and social change. This is a remote position. Employees work from home offices, with occasional travel—one to two times per year—for all-team in-person meetings. Compensation is $195,000–$205,000 annually. The compensation package includes medical and dental benefits, retirement savings, and vacation and sick leave.
