About The Position

iTech AG is seeking a Solutions Architect with ServiceNow expertise to serve as a strategic and technical leader across our federal customer portfolio. This is a senior individual contributor and solutions leadership role that sits at the intersection of platform architecture, client advisory, and business development. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on ServiceNow expertise spanning multiple product lines and platform capabilities, combined with the executive presence and strategic acumen to lead solutioning engagements, shape multi-year transformation roadmaps, and support the growth of iTech AG's Solutions practice. This role is designed for an experienced practitioner who may not hold ServiceNow Certified Architect credential but brings equivalent real-world depth through years of progressive, enterprise-scale architecture experience. The candidate will operate with significant autonomy, partnering directly with iTech AG leadership, Delivery teams, and federal clients to define platform strategy, guide solution design across engagements, and ensure technical quality and delivery excellence across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of ServiceNow experience, including progressively senior roles in architecture, solution design, or technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience serving in an architecture or solutions leadership capacity across enterprise or federal ServiceNow implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise across three or more ServiceNow product lines, such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, ITOM, IRM, Field Service Management, or SecOps.
  • Strong command of ServiceNow platform architecture, including domain separation, multi-instance design, performance best practices, upgrade management, and security architecture.
  • Ability to independently lead client-facing solutioning discussions, workshops, and roadmap development sessions with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, capture activities, or pre-sales technical solutioning in a federal or professional services context.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
  • Pursuant to government contracts, US Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting federal government programs
  • PMP, Agile, and/or ITIL certification preferred
  • Experience in a VP, Director, or Principal Architect capacity within a ServiceNow partner or federal systems integrator.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior government stakeholders on platform strategy and digital transformation.
  • Experience leading or contributing to solutions practices, Centers of Excellence (CoE), or architecture review boards.
  • Hands-on experience with Now Assist for ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and generative AI capabilities within ServiceNow.
  • Experience designing AI-powered workflow automation, conversational AI, and intelligent self-service experiences.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow's platform health tools, Performance Analytics, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience supporting DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing within ServiceNow delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solutioning for complex, multi-product ServiceNow engagements across multiple customers.
  • Define platform architecture, integration patterns, data models, and technical roadmaps aligned to customer mission outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary technical voice with senior client stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, and program executives.
  • Translate business requirements, federal mandates, and agency priorities into actionable ServiceNow solution designs.
  • Develop and present solution architecture documents, technical proposals, roadmaps, and demonstrations to customers and prospects.
  • Advise customers on platform governance, upgrade strategy, license optimization, and long-term platform health.
  • Partner with the EVP of Solutions and executive team to shape iTech AG's solutions strategy, service offerings, and go-to-market positioning.
  • Contribute to business development activities including capture support, solution shaping, oral proposal preparation, and technical win themes.
  • Develop reusable solution frameworks, accelerators, and reference architectures that differentiate iTech AG in the marketplace.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and support account strategy development.
  • Represent iTech AG's technical expertise in customer briefings, industry events, and partner engagements.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership during critical delivery phases, including architecture reviews, design decisions, and complex problem resolution.
  • Conduct architecture governance reviews and technical quality assessments across active engagements.
  • Guide and mentor senior developers and solution leads on platform best practices, design patterns, and delivery standards.
  • Lead platform integration design using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and enterprise middleware.
  • Design and validate AI-enabled solutions leveraging Now Assist, AI Agents, Predictive Intelligence, and generative AI capabilities within ServiceNow.
  • Support development and review of technical documentation, architecture decision records (ADRs), and delivery artifacts.
  • Develop multi-year ServiceNow transformation roadmaps aligned to agency missions, modernization initiatives, and platform maturity models.
  • Assess current-state platform environments, identify gaps, and define prioritized improvement plans.
  • Partner with customers to build business cases, investment justifications, and capability roadmaps for executive sponsorship.
