About The Position

Nationwide Fab., a leading manufacturer of custom commercial stainless steel food service equipment, is seeking a Director of Sales – Fabrication and Design. This hybrid role, encompassing both Cambro and Nationwide, is responsible for generating sales by deepening relationships with the consultant and design build community, growing Nationwide's business directly and with reps, expanding Nationwide's chain business in partnership with the Cambro chain team and directly with chains, and developing a continuing education training platform for both companies. The position requires meeting overall sales goals, providing top-tier service, identifying new business opportunities, training and supporting reps, preparing sales quotes, negotiating pricing, participating in sales planning, delivering sales presentations, conducting market analysis, representing the company at trade shows, making direct sales calls, and supervising the NW Inside Sales Manager. The role involves balancing time between Nationwide and Cambro sales initiatives, with opportunities for cross-functional selling and hosting groups for tours, training, and entertainment. Travel is required approximately 40-50% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year accredited college or university and 3 to 5 years of focused sales experience, sales management with manufacturing, stainless steel, and food industry background preferred.
  • Excellent administrative skills, Microsoft Word, Office, Excel,
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of how to manage RFP’s
  • Excellent presentation skills and professionalism.
  • Must be able to effectively present and relate to all contact levels, from executive level to entry level employees.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency, initiative, and possess follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Candidates must reside in the Colorado region and work onsite in the Northglenn office.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check if required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting overall sales goals and targets through Direct Sales and management of Rep.sales activities.
  • Insures top-tier service to existing customers and Reps.
  • Identifies, strategizes and pursues new customers and business opportunities
  • Trains and supports Reps.
  • Prepares Sales Quotes in conjunction with Estimating team when required.
  • Negotiates pricing to maintain maximum margins while insuring sales volume goals.
  • Participates in sales planning and budgeting
  • Develops, delivers and executes compelling sales presentations for new and existing dealers, Reps and Consultants to drive product knowledge and sales growth.
  • Oversees market and competitive analysis to advise pricing strategies based on shifts in the competitive landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Represents company at Trade Shows
  • Makes direct outside sales calls to dealers and consultants.
  • Travel and outside sales calls approximately 50% of time.
  • Supervises and directs NW Inside Sales Manager
  • Balances time between Nationwide and Cambro Sales Initiatives, and finds opportunities where possible for cross functional selling
  • Host groups at NW and help facilitate groups at Cambro with the assistance of Cambro VP of Global Sales and Marketing for tours, training and entertainment
  • Travel is required approximately 40 - 50% of the time, depending on business needs
  • Maintains reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, dependable, and flexible to potential schedule changes to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
  • Executes each essential duty satisfactorily to perform job successfully.
  • Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
  • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.

  • Follows all department quality standards/criteria.
  • Raises concerns and issues to management.
