About The Position
A direct-hire, long-term role with a client in the manufacturing industry, located in the Darlington, South Carolina area. The Director of Sales and Engineering will direct engineering and sales for an OEM company. The position is onsite and pays $125,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Experience managing an engineering team and customer and internal sales interactions.
- Experience with quotes, change orders, job releases, and expanding sales.
- Strong customer interface experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a sheet metal job shop environment.
- ERP experience; Oracle is preferred.
- Inventor experience.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in mechanical or structural engineering is preferred.
- Acoustics experience is a plus.
- Experience with the Oracle ERP platform is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct the engineering and sales functions for an OEM company.
- Manage the engineering team and customer and internal sales interactions.
- Handle quotes, change orders, and job releases, and work to expand sales.
- Hire employees when needed.
- Implement safety procedures.
