Director of Revenue Operations

Augment•Chicago, IL

About The Position

Augment is seeking its first dedicated Revenue Operations hire to take ownership of early forecasting, compensation, and territory-planning foundations and turn them into scalable systems. This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Sales. The position owns CRM, forecasting, compensation, reporting, and the processes supporting Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. Augment’s go-to-market motion is outbound-led: SDRs prospect and qualify freight brokers, 3PLs, for-hire carriers, private fleets, and distributors, then AEs lead discovery and close. The company sells across Commercial, Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Strategic segments, with six-figure ARR deals and buying committees spanning operations, IT, and finance. The role’s forecasting, compensation, and territory models must support this complexity. Augment builds Augie, an AI teammate for supply chain that automates logistics work such as quoting, dispatch, tracking, and billing. The company’s mission is to free logistics professionals from busywork so they can focus on higher-impact problem-solving and decision-making.
