About The Position

Saddlebrook Resort, a premier destination in Wesley Chapel, Florida, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Revenue Management to lead revenue optimization efforts across the property. This role is responsible for maximizing total hotel revenue through the strategic analysis of group and transient business, pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and competitive positioning. The Director will play a critical leadership role in aligning revenue strategies with Pyramid Global Hospitality standards while ensuring brand compliance and achieving financial performance targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive Revenue Management experience in a hotel or resort environment (resort experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with hotel systems including PMS, RMS, CRS, STR, and GDS platforms.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic resort environment.
  • Hospitality or lodging experience required; luxury or resort background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of revenue strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy performance.
  • Analyze group and transient business thresholds to ensure optimal inventory utilization and revenue growth versus the competitive set.
  • Recommend and implement pricing and positioning strategies in alignment with Pyramid standards and brand requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, citywide events, and demand generators to capitalize on revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts, as well as annual budgets.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of short- and long-term decisions impacting occupancy, rate, and profitability.
  • Oversee inventory controls, including group blocks, cut-off dates, and transient availability.
  • Lead weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings in accordance with Pyramid SOPs.
  • Provide displacement analysis for group and contract business to evaluate impact on total revenue.
  • Ensure all revenue management systems (PMS, RMS, CRS, GDS) are optimized and accurately maintained.
  • Evaluate market demand using STR reports, brand diagnostics, and channel performance data.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align strategies and drive results.
  • Manage third-party distribution channels and maintain relationships with market managers.
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting on group pace, transient trends, and overall performance to property leadership and corporate stakeholders.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and effectively communicate strategies to the leadership team.
  • Train and mentor hotel team members on revenue management principles and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regional and brand revenue teams.
