About The Position

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) for a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Washington, IA. This is a full-time, salaried role with a $5,000 bonus. The DOR will lead the therapy department within Independent Living, Assisted Living, Short Term Rehab, Memory Support, and Long Term Care settings. The role involves inspiring and mentoring the therapy team, influencing the department's vision, ensuring customer satisfaction, developing strategies to improve clinical metrics, and marketing the rehab department for growth. Aegis Therapies offers strong corporate support and the autonomy for the DOR to shape their department.

Requirements

• Graduate from Physical Therapy/Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant or Speech-Language Pathology program
• Must possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice
• Therapist license, strongly preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience as treating therapist or therapy assistant
• Minimum one (1) year therapy management experience

Nice To Haves

• Minimum three (3) years experience as treating therapist or therapy assistant
