About The Position

Aegis Therapies is hiring a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) for a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) setting in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time, salaried position involves leading the rehabilitation program, ensuring clinical quality, service excellence, and operational viability. The role requires managing the therapy department, overseeing documentation and billing, identifying growth opportunities, and evaluating employee and program effectiveness. The DOR will have the autonomy to shape the therapy department while benefiting from strong corporate support.

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice; Physical Therapy / Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a treating therapist or therapy assistant
• Minimum 1 year of therapy management experience
• Currently Credentialed Documentation Auditor (CDA) or ability to become credentialed within six (6) months

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a treating therapist or therapy assistant

• Overall clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, financial and operational viability of rehabilitation program
• Ensure client and company expectations are met
• Plan, develop, implement, and monitor appropriate provision, documentation, billing of clinical services and customer relations
• Identify and implement growth opportunities across the CCRC community
• Evaluate effectiveness of employees and ongoing programs
• Lead your team to success
