Director of Rehab - Post Acute Rehabilitation
About The Position
The Therapy Program Manager/Director of Rehab at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston, Iowa, is responsible for leading the rehabilitation team in delivering exceptional, resident-centered care. This role is within a mission-driven Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that offers a comprehensive continuum of care on a single campus. The position is in partnership with Concept Rehab, an organization known for its values-driven culture, commitment to clinical excellence, and evidence-based, person-centered care. The Therapy Program Manager oversees daily operations, ensures high-quality clinical care, drives program performance, supports staff development, and fosters relationships with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Licensed therapist or assistant (PT, PTA, OT, COTA or SLP) in the state of Iowa.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, resident-focused care.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff across disciplines.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centered care aligned with Bishop Drumm’s mission and Concept Rehab’s clinical standards.
- Oversee documentation, compliance, outcomes tracking, and program efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with nursing, administration, and other departments to support a cohesive care experience.
